Everything an approved Abu Dhabi training centre needs to deliver the mandated Essential Food Safety Training course and hold its registration.
Overview
Essential Food Safety Training is a regulated programme, and the provider is regulated alongside the course. This is the operating system for an approved Training Service Provider working under the ADAFSA EFST Training and Certification Programme Requirements, CS-EFST-01, Issue 02. It follows the regulator's workflow end to end, from registration and approval maintenance through trainer qualification, material sign-off, trainee registration, delivery and examination coordination, to certificate issue and reporting to ADAFSA through programme meetings.
Because ADAFSA approves the material as well as the organisation, the package carries the course as well as the system around it. Sector delivery packs for catering, retail, food manufacturing, and animal production and slaughterhouses hold the workbooks, presentations and certificate templates used in the room, with a trainer delivery guide behind them. Classroom and remote live-stream teaching are separate controlled processes with their own readiness checks, and the loop closes with trainee feedback, internal audit against the EFST requirements, and a defined response to nonconformity and sanctions.
What this system covers
- ADAFSA registration and approval maintenance — the provider's standing with the regulator, change control and programme reporting
- Trainer qualification and approval — applications, trainer files and competence evidence held to a compliance check
- Training material development — preparing, submitting and version-controlling content the regulator must sign off
- Classroom and remote live-stream delivery — room and platform readiness, session conduct and attendance capture
- Attendance and post-training examination coordination — test-centre conduct and the evidence it produces
- Certificate issue and verification — sector certificates for catering, retail, food manufacturing and animal production
- Trainee records, feedback and internal audit — registration and issuance records under a retention matrix, evaluated against the EFST requirements
Who it's for
Written for training centres seeking or holding ADAFSA EFST approval, food safety training managers and approved trainers, and consultancies setting up a provider in Abu Dhabi. The trigger is usually an approval application, or the review that keeps a registration alive, when a centre must show the regulator a documented system behind every course it runs. What it leaves is a provider that can register a trainee, deliver in a classroom or online, examine and certify, with the evidence to match.
