Overview
Egypt's General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation moves ambulatory care onto its Edition 2026 standards on 1 May 2026, and centres are surveyed against them from that date. This is the documented answer: an apex Quality Manual and Quality and Patient Safety Policy, down through procedures to audit checklists, every file coded, versioned and cross-referenced so a standard leads to the record answering it.
The content follows the ambulatory patient journey: identification, informed consent, screening, assessment and care planning, fall prevention, verbal orders and critical results, then the higher-risk services a centre is judged on. A compliance matrix maps each document to its standard, a month-by-month roadmap becomes a twelve-month project plan, and a readiness and scoring guide lets the centre grade itself first. Training sits inside the architecture: an annual plan, a role-based competency matrix and a staff awareness course.
