This guideline is the international edition of source regulation PHC-C-5, built on the Codex General Principles of Food Hygiene (CXC 1-1969) with its HACCP annex, the Codex code for bottled and packaged drinking waters (CXC 48-2001) and the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality.
