ISO 20121 ESMS

ISO 20121 is the international standard for event sustainability management systems (ESMS), giving organizations a practical framework to identify, manage and reduce the social, economic and environmental impacts of events. Implementation centers on defining a sustainable development policy and governing principles, identifying interested parties and their expectations, evaluating issues and impacts, setting objectives, controlling operations and the supply chain, and measuring and reviewing performance. The standard integrates readily with other systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and supports broader sustainability agendas including the Sustainable Development Goals, carbon reduction and responsible sourcing.
