Overview
Manufacturers that sell to US and global retail may be asked to run an SQF system. This course prepares the people who build and check it: the QA manager, the SQF practitioner and the internal audit team.
The course teaches SQF Edition 9. SQFI published Edition 10 in March 2026 and expects audits against it to begin no earlier than 2 January 2027, subject to GFSI benchmarking, so delegates are told to check with SQFI which edition their next audit will use. The slides explain the code's architecture and tiers, the system elements and the GMP modules, and walk through how the certification audit is scored: a minor finding costs one point, a major costs five, and a critical is an automatic failure. A slide on the practitioner's first ninety days turns the code into a starting plan.
The delegate workbook includes a gap assessment on a generic 'Company X' and asks why a UAE exporter to the US would pursue SQF. The exam pack includes an answer key and a planted-gaps guide, and a certificate template records training given by your organisation. It does not lead to SQF certification. AGS is independent and is not affiliated with SQFI or GFSI. Standards are referenced by number and title only, and no standard text is included.
